Shenzhen-The beginning of dreamers

China, a truly amazingly developed country, makes everyone in the world admire it. But I won't spend time talking about China, I will tell you about Shenzhen-the beginning of dreamers

Some information is referenced from Wikipedia.org, the rest Nadia researched on her own 🙂

I lived and worked in Shenzhen for 6 weeks, not too long for a deep review but not too short for a superficial experience. I hope what I say below will help you somewhat have an objective view of China

The beginning of free, dreamy soul, …

A new city will not be an interesting choice for tourists coming to China, a country rich in national culture with ancient architecture, majestic nature and unique culinary quintessence real. But this is my first destination in a new country, Shenzhen, a flourishing trip that has opened up to me from the perspective of knowledge to the inner values that are carefully interwoven through every subtle detail.

1. A little things Nadia knows about Shenzhen

Returning to Shenzhen city, when its history was only officially recognized as an urban area since 1979, located in Guangdong province, the border is close to Bao An district. With a history of just over 40 years, far different from the rich historical culture of other surrounding areas, Shenzhen gathers the outstanding development of a new urban area, the world’s leading technology center. and should finance the Asia-Pacific region. Along with its large urban population, Shenzhen has become a key super port city of Asia, mentioned in the “10 most visited cities of 2019” by Lonely Planet. The municipality has an area of 1,991.64 km2 (769 square miles) including urban and rural areas, with a total population of 10,358,381 at the 2010 census.

With a rapidly growing economy, Shenzhen is a promised land for people who want to develop their careers and lives.

2. From the perspective of Nadia

Certainly, for me is a wonderful city, modern culture, advanced technology, kind-hearted people and admirable education.

Shenzhen is not a tourist destination, no historical landmarks, just skyscrapers, commercial centers and entertainment areas, a dreamland for people. Those who love technology. Many people choose to come here to study, work with a high standard of living, and satisfy their personal financial needs. They accept the sky-high rental prices of 4,000 yuan or more in close-by apartment buildings. You can only travel by public transport such as the subway, bus or bicycle because this is the richest city to the point where you have to enter a number to receive your car and all goods. The prices here are much higher. Here, people are protected 24/7 with thousands of cameras on the streets, and every corner is carefully observed from senior management.

The cuisine here is quite diverse due to variations and interference between different regions.

Cantonese people cannot eat spicy food, but the food is quite greasy. The food is always not too sweet or salty, everything is very flavorful. As a person with a stomach disease, I can absolutely eat the food here deliciously, or in other words, the food is very delicious. Although the weather is hot and humid, the Cantonese still uses warm drink or food to keep the original taste .

The wonderful people here brought complete emotions to my 6-week long journey.

Coming to a new land is really difficult. I cried because I missed home, because of the misfortunes that had happened to me, and because of the loneliness that surrounded me from the beginning. But fortunately, I have new friends who help me, hold my hands, shake hands and give me radiant smiles, friends who all carry within them the enthusiasm of youth and kind, loving hearts. wish. with joy, creating precious memories throughout the journey. The hastily handwritten letters, the warm hugs, the beautiful gifts, I didn’t think that one day I would receive them from strangers who only knew me as Nadia. Luckily, I have been able to connect with people of many ages and witness firsthand the lifestyle of the people here who are full of love and respect. Have intimate family meals, participate in sports activities, exercise and take care of yourself in the best way. And of course deep gratitude to that girl, a person full of passion and freedom. and independence, I had the opportunity to live together for more than a month, from two strangers to a passionate sisterhood. Meeting and experiencing unforgettable memories is my honor myself. I have learned great lessons from her, a person who always likes challenges, always fights for the benefit of everyone, is always kind and does not care about right or wrong no matter what the outcome. It was so worth it and I’m so grateful to have met.

3. The lesson for Nadia

It is not wrong to say that people affirm that “Shenzhen is a city worth living in”, a city of the global future, the beginning of comprehensive development, of course accompanied by breakthroughs that always go hand in hand with some. The problem still needs the attention of the government. When pressure increases, necessary incentives for employees and other workers need to be taken more seriously. This problem not only exists here but also in many places. Many other countries bring comfort and happiness to the entire nation.

A journey always has a beginning and an end, but never an end. Maybe the joy will stay in my memories but will be a solid stepping stone for my own upcoming plans. I am grateful and proud of myself, and so are you, the value lies in the way we view life in every kaleidoscopic lens.
