What is peer pressure from the point of view of gen Z ? (P1)
According to the American Psychological Association’s dictionary of psychology, peer pressure is when an individual is influenced by people from the same social group and has to change attitudes, values, and behaviors to accommodate them. According to group standards, to put it more simply, it is the feeling of self-deprecation when not achieving the same things as the friends .
“The boy was only 10 years old and won the first prize in the city’s math class”, “ She just graduated uni. and bought a house for her mother”, etc… – said parent 🙂
Everyone has each standard life , but why our lives are still affected by those words ?
50% of “pressure” always gives us an invisible burden that makes us lose our inherent confidence, instead of running away. The remaining 50% will be the goal of striving, daring to go to the end, proving yourself. There is indeed PEER PRESSURE .
Iam in my own peer pressure situation , my friends now make a lot of money , they are talented , participate in all fields , find their strengths and develop it comprehensively , and most admired are those who dare to stand up and express themselves in front of everyone and accept all comments. But I did not run away, guilty of choosing to hide, when given the opportunity will explode, even though I am late, I can still be myself, still do not regret this choice.
I hope This short piece of advice will assist you in life skills
